8.  Hotel Riu Puerto Marina Benalmadena ****  Costa de Sol
A great location right next to the marina at Benalmadena with its wealth of bars and restaurants, this hotel is great for groups and families looking for plenty to do.  Just 15 minutes from Malaga Airport, this is a handy base for short breaks.  Great golf is never far away so you will have plenty of courses to choose from.

 

7.  Islantilla Golf Resort ****  Costa de la Luz
A quality hotel with a 27 hole golf course right on the doorstep.  Islantilla is superb for those who just want to play where they stay and enjoy the relaxing surroundings and, of course, sunshine!  There is a great value 7 night / 5 round package that also includes half board.  It's easy to see why this is such a popular resort.

 

6.  Dona Filipa & San Lorenzo Golf Course *****  Algarve
San Lorenzo is rated as one of the best golf courses in Europe and coupled with the Dona Filipa Hotel this resort really offers you a 5* golfing holiday experience.  Quality is the theme here and situated within the Vale do Lobo Estate, there are plenty of other quality courses to choose from.  Most popular with couples and groups of couples.

 

5.  AR Hotel Almerimar ****  Almeria
A mid range 4* hotel where location wins every time.  Situated directly on the beach front, surrounded by the 27 hole Almerimar course, and within easy walking distance to restaurants and bars at the marina!  Daily golf is included in the price at Almerimar and for a small charge you can swap some of these rounds for other nearby courses.  Almerimar is also one of the driest regions of Spain improving your chances of golf in the sun!  A great hotel for golfing groups.

 

4.  Vila Gale Hotels in Vilamoura ****  Algarve
The Vila Gale Marina and the Vila Gale Ampalius hotels in Vilamoura have always been popular for keen groups of golfers looking for top quality golf.  The hotels are comfortable yet simple and are right in the heart of Vilamoura.  There is a courtesy shuttle bus that takes you to the Vilamoura courses and there is no real need to drive in the evenings.  Great for those of you like to celebrate / unwind after playing golf with a few drinks!
